Queen Creek is a town in the southeast corner of the Phoenix metro area that crosses the Maricopa and Pinal County line. Loop 202 and State Route 24 connect it to Mesa, Gilbert and the rest of the East Valley, and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is just to the north. The town grew from an agricultural area, and that shows in its housing: master-planned communities with newer homes sit near larger-lot properties, some zoned for horses, and several builders are selling new homes in communities across town.
Many homes have HOAs; larger-lot properties may not, so check for well, septic and irrigation details where they apply. Local attractions include Schnepf Farms, the Queen Creek Olive Mill, and town parks and trails along the Queen Creek Wash.
